Chief Instructor: Dr Wei Wang

Dr Wang has two sons, one attending Longthorpe Primary School and the other Jack Hunt Secondary School, Peterborough. His wife works as an account at a Cambridge-based hi-tech company.
Born in China, Dr Wang came to the UK in 1985 for post-graduate education. He then worked in higher education and industry in the UK, and in China for a British-based multinational. Over the years, he has worked with people ranging from the fourth richest person in the UK to farmers in the poorest regions in China.
Having travelled intensively as a high flying executive, he has come to realising that his two sons’ healthy growth is more important than his waiting for an aeroplane at an airport.
After ensuring they are adequately exposed to all possible developmental opportunities, including those in music and sports, he has been engaged in growing a number of largely internet-based, globally-oriented companies.
But still, Dr Wang has been spending substantial time nurturing his two sons (including reading story books together and creating opportunities for them to play with other children), working with other members of the local PTA (Parents Teachers Association) and after-school clubs, and serving as a governor at Longthorpe Primary School.
In addition to his mastery of authentic Mandarin Chinese language, Dr Wang has a good mastery of English, being author of the best-selling English book The China Executive, which is being sold around the world.
In short, his broadly-based education in both China and the UK, his extensive managerial work and international experience, and above all his robust bilingual ability make Dr Wang a leading expert in providing Mandarin teaching to English-speaking children and young people.
